The world’s first hydrogen superyacht, Feadship‘s 118.8-metre Breakthrough, has been sold in-house at Edmiston, in what is “the most significant brokerage deal in history”. Chief executive Jamie Edmiston represented the seller in the deal, while sales broker Alex Busher represented the buyer.
The brokerage firm also announced that she has now joined the charter market, and will be available for charter exclusively with Edmiston.
Breakthrough was launched in May 2024 from the Royal Van Lent shipyard in Kaag, the Netherlands, hitting the brokerage market shortly after. Shrouded in secrecy throughout her build, her launch unveiled exactly what the industry had been eagerly waiting for: the world’s first hydrogen superyacht.
