Refit and repair shipyard Astilleros de Mallorca has announced the official appointment of Enrique Tintore as its new commercial director. 

The move follows nearly a decade at Damen Yachting, where Tintore oversaw the development of the yard’s explorer and yacht support ranges. “After almost nine wonderful years in the Netherlands working at Damen Yachting, I am happy to share that I will be embarking on a new career chapter,” Tintore shared in a post online. “This will bring me closer to home after 14 years living abroad.”

With a background in marine engineering and naval architecture, Tintore brings an extensive combination of technical knowledge and experience in the global superyacht industry to his new role.

“We are convinced his technical experience, strategic vision and [industry] knowledge will add great value and contribute to the further growth, evolution and success of Astilleros de Mallorca,” the yard stated. “Welcome on board Enrique.”
